The WELKER'S big move!

So, our house "SOLD" at a crazy time for us. I had already bought plane tickets for the girls and I to go to Colorado for the last 2 1/2 weeks of August and then on the second week of August we had an offer on our house and the people were suposed to move in on Sept. 1st! So Tiffany met us in Flagstaff (see post below) and helped us pack fot 4 days. Then ALL of Heston's family met there to move all of our stuff on the last weekend in August. That would be the same weekend that we found out that the buyers were backing out of buying our house!!!!!! And the same weekend that I almost lost it!!!!!! I was in Colorado when I got the news and I was so upset that I couldn't even eat (that doesn't happen very often) Anyway, now our house is still for sale, our house is empty, and we are paying a monthly fee for a storage unit. I guess that it's good to know that we don't have to move all of our stuff out of our house again. I do feel badly that I didn't get to be there to help on that crazy moving weekend. Thank you Dad, Mom, Dustin, Amanda, Tara, Ben, Lacie and Sam and Heston my buff moving Husband who practically could have carried that beast of a desk down those stairs by himself if he needed to!

What a freakin BUMMER!!!!!! All of that excitement and chaos only to have it be for not. :0/ But I'm sure Heavenly Father has big plans for that beautiful empty house.

And as for the guy who backed out of the deal, find him, get some dog poop in a paper bag and light it on fire on his front porch. It'll make you feel better. HA HA.

Oh girl, I'm so sorry to hear about the house fiasco. Yuck! Seriously, no fun. I tell ya, houses can be a blessing and a curse. We're still stuck with our house in Littleton, with no hope of selling for a few years. Boo!

Oh wow, that stinks. Your house is so beautiful! It took us 5 months to finally sell our house and I thought it was never going to happen. We had so many offers and we'd get so excited... and they'd back out!! Soooo frusterating!

Gosh dang that stinks, I'm sorry. The housing market is so hard right now. Good luck! The house is beautiful by the way.

It is times like that when you really regret praying for humility and patience! :-) And to top it all off it was your birthday, and you are so old now!! lol!! I am going to come and kidnap you one of these days soon, and we will have a huge party for just us chickas! We totally deserve it! I miss you so much! Keep smiling! You will get through it and someday it will make a great story to look back and laugh at...but probably not anytime soon. ;-)

I am so sad that your home didn't sell and I would be so upset with the people who decided to back out at the last minute!! Wow what a crazy and exciting life you have had this past month! I feel bad because ya your home was totally perfect and a beautiful model home. At least now you don't have to worry about moving anything for a while so that when the home sells you don't have to go through this whole ordeal again. Love ya girl and if you ever need to vent you know who to call:).

Just like the Disney cartoon with the sheep and the jackaloupe says, just "bound, bound, bound and rebound" -everything will work out, I know it! The same thing happened when I was selling my house, so I can kind of relate. It was extremely tough but everything worked out in the end. You guys are awesome! If I can do anything to help just ask, I mean it!
