It's so hard to be happy sometimes!

I can count!

Dani has benn in to counting lately. Every time that she reads a book she counts everything in it. She always skips "12" and then ends with "14, 14, 14, 14" This is one of her early morning scripture readings. (Don't mind the bed head"

Emily came to visit!

Emily , Julia, Sophia, and Emily's sister Sarah came to visit us. It was so much fun to see them! Her girls are even cuter in person than they are in pictures. We had fun playing in the snow. I taught Julia how to throw snowballs at her mom :)
Abby got to meet them for the first time. They were friends right away! Thanks for coming Em!

Happy Birthday Dani!

Dani turned 2 on February 15th. We had a big fiesta on Saturday and we were so lucky to have so many fun guests! Grandma Stahlecker was still here and Grandma and Papa Welker came too. So did Tara, Ben, Lacie, Sam, Tiffany, Branson, and most of Branson's family, Nina, Shelby, and Brylie (Dustin, Amanda and Sophie came the next day too.) Dani loved having so many people in our house. She was definately the center of attention! Thanks for coming everyone! We love you!

We were wondering where all of the girls disappeared to and then we found all three of them with Papa!
Grandma and Dani took a fun BUBBLE bath together!

Little Abby had to have breathing treatments 4 times a day for her bad cough. Grandma loved to give them to her while she watched Cinderella with Dani. This is a picture of an early morning breathing treatment.
Abby and Grandma fell asleep next to the fireplace together holding hands.

Saying "goodbye" to grandma. We'll miss you!

Big news on Valentines day!

My little sister is getting married and we could not be happier about it! We LOVE Branson! He proposed to her in the cutest way on Valentines day. We have not been able to find one bad thing about him yet and believe me, we have been looking :) We got to meet his wonderful family this weekend and they are great too! Congratulations Tiff and Branson!

Hot date on Valentines day.

Heston gave the sweetest Valentine cards to me, Dani, and Abby on Valentines morning. He gave Dani some puffy Sesame Street stickers that entertained her for at least an hour which was nice because my mom and I got a lot of unpacking and organizing done. Then that night my mom watched the girls while Heston and I went out to a fancy Italian restaraunt here in town. I love him so much!

WE MOVED IN TO OUR HOUSE!

We finally got to move in to the house that Dustin helped us build. I know some of you are thinking "what? I thought you were moving to Prescott" and nope, we are not moving there anymore. We don't really know what is happening with Heston's work but for now we are staying here in Flag. Hopefully we will get to stay long enough to enjoy another summer. We were very lucky to have a lot of help with the move. Heston's Mom, Dad, and Grandma came for a weekend and helped us move all of our stuff over. Heston and his Dad hauled truck load after truck load while the women packed, cleaned and tried to entertain little busy Dani. It was so great to have their help! Then my mom came from Colorado for a week to help us move in. (and to play with the girls so I could get some stuff done) She is the greatest organizer! We love our new house! Thank you for all of the help guys!

Dani helped us un-pack.

Dani is always a very busy little girl. She enjoys doing all of her projects "one item at a time". She is very quick and thorough.

Dani and Abby

It's been a fun couple of weeks for us and these girls have been quite the troopers. Their mom has not been able to give them as much attention as usual because she has been busy packing and un-packing boxes. They are the best little girls that a mom could ask for!

Abby's conversation with Grandma

*Pause the music at the bottom before you watch this*

Our little Abby is so much fun these days! She hardly ever cries, she smiles all of the time and even laughs out loud. This video was taken right after We got home from the Doctors office where the dr. informed me that she has an ear infection and put her on breathing treatments for her bad cough and wheezing in her chest that very possibly could be RSV. The only reason that I took her in was because when she would cough a lot she would cry. The Dr. said that when they cough it really hurts their ears when they have an infection. She is a tough little baby - she must get that from her mom :)

Dani wrote a song

* Pause the music at the bottom before you play this* We were driving in the car the other day and Dani was really bored so I gave her my head band and she started singing about it. She was sick so her voice is cute and scratchy.
