Labor Day Camping.

We went on our yearly camping trip with Heston's family over Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun. It rained a lot but we just delt with it and enjoyed the time that it wasn't raining. And, once again my wonderful husband made me a little port-a-potty for our tent for the 3 nightly potty trips that I have been having to make. He is the sweetest husband and the best daddy in the world! We were happy to get back home to a shower and our beds. The girls didn't sleep very well up there so it took us all awhile to catch up on our sleep when we got home. Thanks for the fun times everyone!

Dani can read!

Scroll to the bottom and pause the music so you can hear her. Well, she has memorized several poems and she likes to act like she's reading them. Hey diddle diddle is one of her favorites. Notice how "the little dog laughed to see such a SMART".

Colorado!

*Push your refresh button and the slide show will start over - if you missed it.
The girls and I took another trip to Colorado. This time we got to watch Tyson and Mikey while Nate and Monica went to Hawaii. We had so much fun with those little monsters. Tyson got Dani addicted to hunting monsters with clothes hangers as weapons. We all stayed at my parents so they were there helping most of the time or I think that I would have gone insane at dinner and bath time. It was fun to see Shonn, Ticia, Kate, Isaac and Anna too. We also got to go and see my cousin Lisa and her cute kids. It was a long time to be gone from our Daddy! We were VERY happy to see him when we got home!

The WELKER'S big move!

So, our house "SOLD" at a crazy time for us. I had already bought plane tickets for the girls and I to go to Colorado for the last 2 1/2 weeks of August and then on the second week of August we had an offer on our house and the people were suposed to move in on Sept. 1st! So Tiffany met us in Flagstaff (see post below) and helped us pack fot 4 days. Then ALL of Heston's family met there to move all of our stuff on the last weekend in August. That would be the same weekend that we found out that the buyers were backing out of buying our house!!!!!! And the same weekend that I almost lost it!!!!!! I was in Colorado when I got the news and I was so upset that I couldn't even eat (that doesn't happen very often) Anyway, now our house is still for sale, our house is empty, and we are paying a monthly fee for a storage unit. I guess that it's good to know that we don't have to move all of our stuff out of our house again. I do feel badly that I didn't get to be there to help on that crazy moving weekend. Thank you Dad, Mom, Dustin, Amanda, Tara, Ben, Lacie and Sam and Heston my buff moving Husband who practically could have carried that beast of a desk down those stairs by himself if he needed to!

Packing the house up.

We thought that we had sold our house so we rushed to Flagstaff to power-pack it up in 4 days before the girls and I left to go to Colorado for 16 days. My sister Tiffany was our little angel and she came to help us out. I couldn't have done it without her. Feeding Abby while Dani ran circles around us. Dani saw this picture and said "that is my house! Les's go to my house!"....... poor kid! Dani found her Easter hat and had to wear it the entire time that we were there. Our dining quarters. Aunt Tiffany played "sleeping monster" with Dani all weekend. Tiffany built a tunnel for Dani and Abby to crawl in. And she built a fort for Dani to watch movies in. She took the gilrs on a walk to our neighborhood park for the last time. (I got a lot of packing done while they were gone!) And Aunt Tiffany took a bubble bath with Dani for the last time in Dani's favorite bath tub (or swimming pool, as Dani thinks of it). Thank you Tiffany! For being the best sister that a girl could ever ask for and an amazing Aunt! Also, Thank you to Branson for letting us steal your new bride for 4 long days - You are a champ!
